Given our recent interview with knapsack, it seemed only fitting that we feature a write-up on his friend and fellow blossoming producer chrystal color’s remix of “vexed.” The track exudes zest right off the bat, and the treatment of slyleaf’s vocals gives the track a distinctly reverberating and arena-esque feel.
The build-up features a smooth, almost underwater-like, chord progression before exploding into a massive drop, with powerful, snappy and driving drums anchoring a future saw synth melody one might liken to “daydreamer” which hits you like a freight train.
