Featured Song: Andrew Applepie – Trip To The Moon.
German producer/songwriter Andrew Applepie recently put out some of his best work to date with his new album The Clouds and the Moon and the End of Summer, and his expertise can be heard loud and clear on standout track “Trip To The Moon.” Beautifully arranged, Andrew layers lush, pulsating synths over a warm, round bassline, and ultimately puts together a track that is absolutely worth a listen.
The rest of The Clouds and the Moon and the End of Summer is definitely worth exploring too, filled with some really tasteful composition and arrangement. Especially noteworthy are the guitar-inspired lines in “To New York,” the shuffle-esque hard hitter “With Diddy,” and the effortlessly catchy “Pokemon in NYC.”
The Clouds and the Moon and the End of Summer is available on Bandcamp, and you can find more of Andrew’s stuff there as well as on iTunes.
