Duumu – our interview with whom can be found here – has been killing it as of late, putting his super crisp sound design and knack for beautiful arrangements on full display. From growling bass to cutesy melodies, this guy can do it all, and with a ton of new material in the works, he’s really just getting started.
“Castles” is a breathtaking, ethereal release which combines a vast array of sounds, including 8-bit-like synths, massive supersaws, brilliant and shimmering chimes, and gorgeous keys to create an atmospheric stunner. Juu’s vocals on this one are standout, and help to anchor the track’s gorgeous melodies.
