Featured Song: Trash Lord – Howls (Deadcrow Remix).
Founded by UK-based producer Klimeks when in 2013 he was looking to form a platform through which to release his own music, wavemob has since grown into more than a musical collective – it’s truly a cultural movement. More broadly, so-called wave music – characterized by its heavy bass, emotional synth melodies, and hip-hop-inspired drums – a genre whose roots are fundamentally based in the UK, has blossomed globally.
And it’s wavemob, with a roster of artists spanning across Europe and North America, who’s leading the charge.
The group’s latest release is an electric remix of Trashlord‘s “Howls,” coming courtesy of Deadcrow. The latter artist, who’s based in The Hague, Netherlands, breathes new life into “Howls” with an ethereal, powerful take on the track. The remix is absolutely stunning, striking a perfect balance between an uptempo/anthemic feel, and a profoundly emotional atmosphere and ambience – in all, a job exceptionally well done.
Show wavemob some love:
