Featured EP: Blake Skowron – Bummed.
From the outskirts of Chicago comes Blake Skowron, who continues to impress growing crowds with his chaotic, experimental trap hits. Twisting samples into eerie and unsettling melodies and utilizing – in stark contrast to his bone-crushing drops – blissful intros, he has been dominating the underground scene over the course of the last few months, pushing out killer releases with remarkable consistency.
With his new Bummed EP, Blake slams you with window-rattling subs, frenzied percussion, and ridiculously high production quality. Combining efforts with Hue Honey and Harris Cole (both also Chicago natives) on the last two tracks of the five, all the tracks provide a stimulating soundscape for you to immerse yourself in. Overall, “Bummed” is an early contender for one of the best releases of 2017.
