Raleigh, North Carolina-based RUNAWAY GHOST has a true talent for balancing ambience and texture: His tracks are consistently dreamy yet gritty at the same time, featuring crackling and shimmering soundscapes that are equal parts beautiful and dark.
“Infinite” is quite possibly his best effort yet – it’s super lush and full, seamlessly weaving between eerie, heavier sections and gorgeous breakdowns, in an ambient-meets-garage-esque track.
The accompanying music video for the track is gorgeously put together and adds a quite a deal of emotion and story – which seems, in accordance with the track’s title, focused on our place here on earth in the infinite expanse of the cosmos – to the already stirring instrumental.
