Featured Song: Duumu – Spring Roll.
Charlie K a.k.a. Duumu has come a long way in a short amount of time. In an interview with Secret Shores just last year, he’d released a number of high quality, but primarily high-energy tracks. He cited his frustration with his existing work, wanting to instead focus on more emotional and gentle tracks.
Well, with songs like “Love Spells” ft. Elise du Crest, “Time Will Tell”w/ Adib Sin & Slyleaf, and now “Spring Roll,” Duumu has certainly shown his ability to create wonderful chill songs. “Spring Roll” in particular is super impactful, and bears a strong sense of calmness and nostalgia – exactly how he’d pictured his future work.
And in new and exciting news, Duumu has an upcoming 4-track EP, Illuminate, dropping with famed Internet label Monstercat April 14! The EP will be available everywhere – definitely keep an eye out for that.
