As the first-ever Secret Shores interviewee, Gabriel O’Leary, a.k.a. knapsack, is someone for which we’ve been keeping an eye out for quite some time now.
Over the course of the past year, he’s experimented with his style, trying his hand at lo-fi inspired ballads, more aggressive trap, and a variety of off-shoots from his original future type vibes. With “Jasper,” it feels as though he’s coming into his own, carving out his own lane and creating something memorable in the process. This track is as catchy as it is uplifting – most of all, it puts a smile on your face.
