Featured Song: Still Haze & Max Fry – Duality
Hot off the heels his wonky song “Void,” Still Haze is back with “Duality.” Here, the Boston-based producer is working together with Max Fry for a very stripped-down and emotionally raw tune. With sound design reminiscent of Flume and Medasin, “Duality” transports the listener to a space-like atmosphere; as you float through the warm synths, you get chills from Still Haze, as he begins to sing beautifully about what appears to be a lost connection/romance.
As a mixture of Soul, R&B, and Future Bass, “Duality” is able to take each element of these genres and blend them together, making an incredibly unique sound that can’t be matched. With varied skill sets of production and singing, we can only imagine the directions that both Still Haze and Max Fry will take next.
